Long Distance - scale - 1/15.000 (M21E, W21E), other classes 1/10.000, contour interval 5m.
The terrain is typical Alentejo, with cork-oak and holm-oak trees (sparse), wavy, fast, of easy running. There are several rocky elements. Vegetation will be the usual for the time of the year: fresh, green and short. There are also some paths and is moderately hilly. There are also a great number of barbed wire fences. Event Centre – Will be located at Arez Bullfight Arena near concentration area; parking and concentration area at Arez football field.

WARNINGS:
The classes M21E, W21E, M35A and JUN-MA have courses with loops.
On all courses there are a lot of barbed wire fences. The athletes must cross these fences using gates or passages marked on the map and on the ground by red and white tape.
For crossing the Ribeira de Arez water stream passages will be marked on maps and on the ground by red and white tape. These are the crossing areas advised by the organization to all athletes.

Parking – There is no specific area for parking. Parking within the centre of the town will not be allowed for athletes.
Quarantine – All athletes for sprint course must check in to a concentration area near the start.
Traffic – Roads will be closed to traffic within the centre of the village. However, extreme care must be used when crossing roads near the periphery.
