Latinum Certamen
Vila Real 'O' Meeting
Organization:
The Latinum Certamen (10th edition) in foot orienteering is a competition for latin countries national teams. Teams are composed of 6 athletes, 1 female and 1 male in Seniors, Juniors and Cadets classes.
The VILA REAL 'O' MEETING is a foot Orienteering event open to everyone who would like to participate as individual or with a group of beginners. All courses count to the Portuguese Cup rankings with the second day counting for IOF WRE.
The competition will take place in a plateau of 1,000 to 1,200m of altitude in Lamas D’Olo in the Alvão Natural Reserve, 12 km far from the city of Vila Real.

Maps and Terrain
Mountain terrain, between 1000 and 1200 meters of altitude.
1st day - Absence of paths, mainly a rocky open area with many rocky details and some undergrowth;
Map scale 1/10.000, equidistance 5m. 
2nd and 3rd day - Some rocky details and open areas with some pine areas, some undergrowth;
Map scale 1/10.000, equidistance 5m. 
4th day - urban downtown in Vila Real.
Map scale 1/5.000, equidistance 5m. 
Prizes
Latinum Certamen Prizes for the best three athletes per course. Best three national teams.
IOF WRE Prizes for the best five athletes H/D 21E.
Vila Real ‘O’ Meeting Prizes (overall results) for the best five athletes of H/D 21E and best three athletes in every other class. Three best clubs.
