Introduction
For the third year in a row, Grupo Desportivo 4 Caminhos organizes the North Alentejano "O" Meeting. This time the chosen stage is Alter do Chão, a place with history and tradition.
The North Alentejano "O" Meeting is a pedestrian orienteering event, integrated in the ranking of the Portuguese Cup and open to people of any age and may participate in competition classes or in the open classes, individually, or in groups.
The North Alentejano "O" Meeting Trophy will be composed of the following events:
- Model event ( January 23rd, 2009 ).
- Orienteering for schools ( January 23rd, 2009 ).
- Middle distance event in Lameira de Cima.
- Night Sprint in Alter do Chão.
- Long distance event in Tapada do Arneiro - Alter Stud Farm.
The North Alentejano "O" Meeting Trophy is composed by the sum of points of the three events (Long Distance, Night Sprint and Middle Distance).
The organization welcomes all participants in the NAOM 2009.
