It is with great pleasure that we receive in Alter do Chão the third edition of the North Alentejano "O" Meeting (NAOM 2009).

The town, with its welcoming spirit, will receive this competition the best way, being a privilege for us to count on your presence.

The area surrounding the Alter Stud Farm and the Lameira, is ideal for this type of event and I think will please all the participants.

Dear Orienteerers,

The third edition of the Norte Alentejano "O" Meeting returns to its original layout in a town loaded with history.

The event will take place, in its second leg, inside Tapada do Arneiro, where is the world's oldest Stud Farm.

Once again the event brings orienteering to a new city and will have completely new maps.

The organization wishes that its impact is projected beyond the high competition, including schools and associations of the county and providing training.

We wish that you enjoy the time that you stay in Alter do Chão, always in a healthy spirit of sportsmanship and respect for mother nature.
